Do you want to:Develop or enhance a God-given burden for Cambodia or Christian service generally? Identify more closely with a Mission member, eg someone sent out by your church? Obtain information and experience for prayer, support and representation in the UK? HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT COMING ON A MISSION AWARENESS VISIT WITH CAMBODIA ACTION? Who is it for?Adults with a couple of weeks to spare, who are Christians or supportive of our Christian message. Applicants will be assessed for suitability. How long and when is the trip? The next visit is likely to be in February or March 2010. Precise dates are subject to confirmation of flight details. What is the group size?Between 6 and 8 which allows optimum travel and accommodation arrangements. Team members need good health and stamina since the schedule is demanding. What will we do?The schedule brings exposure to Cambodian culture, history, travel, church, mission, projects and team members. As an example, the 2009 visit included visits to the work of Prison Fellowship Cambodia (PFC) and the Phnom Penh Bible School (PPBS). In addition there was some practical work with a project called "Water of Life". What does it Cost? The cost is usually expected to be about £1500 and includes:- Travel; food and lodging; ICC field support and use of their facilities; appropriate access to ICC activities; a proportion of the tour leader's costs. Vaccinations, insurance and other preparation costs are not included. Mission Awareness Visits to Cambodia have been held in February or March. So far, 38 persons have participated. Visits are organised by Cambodia Action in co-ordination with International Co-operation Cambodia (ICC). We can organise visits for groups or individuals.
