We intend to run another team visit to Cambodia in collaboration with Wycliffe UK for 2011.tn_engage

Do you want to:

See Bible translation first hand,
Engage with the local community,
Help with projects and other church work.

Who is it for?

Adults with a month to spare, who are committed to our Christian message and values. Applicants will be assessed for suitability.

How long and when is the trip?

The next visit will be in July 2011. Precise dates are subject to confirmation of flight details.

What is the group size?

Between 5 and 8 which allows optimum travel and accommodation arrangements. Team members need good health and stamina since the schedule is demanding.

What will we do?

The schedule brings exposure to Cambodian culture, history, travel, church, mission, projects and team members. As an example, the 2009 visit included visits to the work of Prison Fellowship Cambodia (PFC) and the Phnom Penh Bible School (PPBS). In addition there was some practical work with a project called "Water of Life".

What does it Cost?

The cost is usually expected to be about £1500 - £1600 and includes:- Travel; food and lodging; ICC field support and use of their facilities; appropriate access to ICC activities.

Vaccinations, insurance, orientation weekend and other preparation costs are not included.

EngageVisits to Cambodia were held for the first time in 2009. Visits are organised by Cambodia Action and Wycliffe UK jointly. In country facilties are supplied in co-ordination with International Co-operation Cambodia (ICC) of which Cambodia Action is a member. We can organise visits for groups or individuals.
