SPPA Palm Sugar wins award | Print |

Recently a Khmer palm sugar product, which is packaged by SPPA projects Anglican Church partners, won a Trophy Golden Palm in a contest of Organic and natural products in Paris, France.?

The sugar won the 1st Golden Palm Trophy in a contest of bio and natural products in Paris held on 15-16-17 October 2005. The contest is organized every two years and this was the first time the committee has given the reward to high quality product processed from nature.

The committee evaluated natural products on quality, taste and?packaging criteria and the process of production as well.

The Palm Sugar product? is imported to France by a company called Comfirel who buy from the SPPA partners.
